How To Keep Your Makeup From Transferring To Your Mask

Ever since the outbreak of Corona Virus, wearing makeup has become a challenge. I am sure we are all struggling with our makeup staining our mask and our face appearing as if we forgot to apply makeup in a couple of spots! But what is the solution to this problem?

Ensuring that you are prepping your face correctly is the most important part of any makeup routine. Avoiding petroleum-based moisturizers will allow for your makeup to adhere better to your skin. Instead, try using a serum! Serums are less emollient and extremely light weight, making them perfect for building makeup products on top.

Next, try your best to avoid cream, liquid and stick products and instead use powder products. Powder products will give you the least amount of makeup-to-mask-transfer. Powders are less emollient and have great adhesibility.

For your lips, avoid glosses and lipsticks! Instead use lip stains. The name speaks for itself, it literally “stains” your lips for all longevity and doesn’t smear to your mask.

I hope these tips help for future makeup and mask wearing endeavors! Be sure to comment and join our “Unity” to openly write and discuss any topic! Thanks for reading beauties!
